What are my favorite Original Family Narratives? PEARCE-AUSTEN, LESLIE, “INDIAN JOHN” MILLER, and “TOMMY” LEE>/em>
My Grandfather was Elmer Luther Fleming. He married Annie Cottar. Anybody have any info. on Luther? I have no idea what happened to him. I was little when we visited my grandmother Annie and even stayed with her sometimes but never ask about grandpa or why he wasn’t there. My aunt Ruth and cousin Mary Edna Herman(her daughter) lived with Annie in Murfreesboro Tn.
Sam,
Good to hear from you. Sounds like you may be from down south. I was just working on the Introduction to my Fleming family. Our Flemings were from Venango County, PA. The son of our pioneer to Pittsburgh, Joseph Moon, probably traveled up there to work the booming oil fields after the gusher at nearby Titusville and ended up marrying Susan Fleming. Check the Venango County history books online or the site “The Flemings of Oil Creek” for the family line. None of your names look familiar, but I’ll keep my eyes open. Please stay in touch, and thanks for your interest.
Larry
