Children: A “Carolina John” Linkhorn is sometimes listed with the other children below. He may have been an uncle who was under age 14 when their grandfather Abraham died (1745). He married and moved to North Carolina. After he passed, his wife apparently moved with their children to the new Missouri Territory about 1816, after which she dies. Read his unusual story here.

* Another Mary Taylor, known as “Polly” (b. 1768/70), married our Joseph M. Berkey (1768-1857), in 1791, Berks Co., PA. Research continues for a possible connection.
+ Several references to Anna Maria & Christian Bowman’s children: “In memory of Isaac ‘Boughman’ who died March 24, 1813 in the 30th year of his age” on a gravestone in Old Swedes’ Cemetery, Kinsessing, as per Waldo Lincoln’s History of the Lincoln Family. Another is in Anna Maria’s sister Rebecca’s will, mentioning Isaac and our Peter L. (1783-1861).
