How to go to Heaven: a Statement of Faith

You can, as many do, simply choose to ignore Christ and the scriptures, go on living your life, doing the best you know how to meet your problems, work to provide an income for your family, and set aside a nest egg for retirement…but then what?

What happens when it comes time for you to depart from this earth?

Then, what will you do with Jesus?  It takes no decision on your part to go to Hell!  It does take a decision on your part, to go to Heaven.

Whether you are a Jew or Gentile, here are 5 basic observations in the Bible of which you should be aware:

All Have Sinned: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
(Romans 3:23)

All Are Loved: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

All Will Be Raised: “The hour is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice. And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the Resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” (John 5:28, 29)

All Will Be Judged: “We shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. And
I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened.”

(Romans 14:10; Revelations 20:12)

All Will Bow: “At the name of Jesus every knee should bow.”
(Philippians 2:10)

Right now, in simple faith, you can have the wonderful assurance of eternal life by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior.  You must make this decision yourself. No one else can decide for you. Would you, right now, as you are reading these very words, like to know how without a shadow of doubt that you are on the road to Heaven – that death is not the end of life but actually the climactic beginning of the most wonderful existence that will ever be — a life with the Lord Jesus Christ and with your friends, your relatives, and your loved ones who have accepted Christ as their Savior.

Right now, pray this simple prayer:

Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself by good works.  I believe that you died for me and that you shed your blood for my sins.  I believe that you rose again from the dead.  And now I am receiving you as my Lord, my personal Savior, my only hope of salvation and eternal life.  I know that I’m a sinner and deserve to be condemned at the judgment.  I know that I cannot save myself.  Lord, be merciful to me, a sinner, and save me according to the promise of Your Word.  I want Christ to come into my heart now to be my Lord, my Savior and my Master.
