      Carol,
I haven’t seen anything yet on your Jonathan, but others are also looking online. Please let me know if/when you find something. Crawford was a very popular name in early Western Pennsylvania.

I am looking for the parents of William M. Crawford Birth 14 Sep 1827 in Pennsylvania
Death 16 May 1877 in Johnson County, Kansas married Elizabeth L. Denney

      Terri,
A quick Google of your William reveals many in early PA. Our ancestor from Indiana (formerly Westmoreland) and Allegheny Counties was Wilson, perhaps a variation of William. See “Introduction: Crawford.” I see another family in Fayette (formerly Washington) County about the same time. I’ll keep looking for yours who died in Kansas. Thanks for your interest and please stay in touch.
      Larry
