Research questions:

WHO WAS CAPTAIN NORRIS (C.1690)? WHAT OTHER FAMILIES DID THE NORRIS’ ASSOCIATE WITH IN NI?

IS THERE ANY CONNECTION TO THE NORRIS’ OF NORRISTOWN (ROBERT/ISAAC)?

WHAT HAPPENED TO DOWLING IN THE CIVIL WAR?

Newly discovered resources:

Articles begun:

NONE

Speculation:

OUR NORRIS FAMILY KNEW MANY OF THE OTHER FAMILIES IN WEST DEER TWP. BEFORE THEY EMIGRATED FROM NORTHERN IRELAND.

      Hi Ken,
We have two generations of Roberts originating in Northern Ireland, the second of whom settled in Allegheny County, PA. I’m not aware of either ending up in Ohio. Family scholar Dan Norris and I have most everything we know listed on the “Table of Contents” page. Have a look and let us know what you find in the future. Thanks for your interest,
      Larry
