    Hello, Larry.

I’ve just renewed poking into this family line which is allied, but a bit remotely, to my paternal grandmother’s Custers. I can’t tell you how pleased I am at the moment, here at my computer, where I’ve found two sites (both yours) on the Internet that don’t involve ancestry.com.

Unfortunately, I don’t descend from Christina, daughter of Joseph/Jacob Ulrich Mishler and Anna Dodorea Mueller–but seemingly from their son Joseph.

My earlier information (probably from about 18 years ago, also had Dodoreas as the SURNAME of Jacob Ulrich Mischler’s wife–which you show as Anna Dodorea MUELLER.

    I seemingly continue via 2. Joseph, 3. Christian . . .

    OR . . . I begin with Joseph Mishler, b. 1732, Wurttenberg, Germany, 2. Christian b. 1764 Lancaseer Co. m. Susanna Miller, 3. Susanna Mishler b. 1797 Somerset Co., m. David Weaver. I also wend my way through Livingstons and Lehmans . . .

Still trying to sort it all out. I’ll continue checking your material . . . and thanks!

Thanks for the interesting letter, Tom. I’m taking all this in and will respond more definitively as I rework the Mishlers and Miller/Mullers. You see, my kids gave me a subscription to Ancestry.com for Christmas and I almost wore out my computer over the first few days, mostly on my dad’s side. Hoping you don’t mind Ancestry.com info and documentation, I’ll be getting to my wife’s side as my retirement continues through the winter months and I post updates and revisions. Yes, continue checking my page and I’ll look forward to hearing anything new that you uncover. Best wishes,
      Larry
