What a useful tool, having come out of such a humble beginning. I don\u2019t know how else I could keep up with the thoughts and activities of family around the country. Many of our relatives have <i>private individual<\/i> Facebook pages that will probably require membership and a \u201cFriend\u201d request, if you\u2019re interested, but here we are concentrating only on what we consider the very best <i>public<\/i> <i>community<\/i> spaces as a more contemporary compliment to our family history. Please take a moment to view the beautiful pictures and listen in on the interesting conversations at these sites:\u00a0 local organizations and activities, churches, schools, libraries, museums, and societies. Don&#8217;t forget to click on the <em>links<\/em> inside each Facebook page.\u00a0 Think of this information as the answer to the question genealogists might logically ask about their subjects\u2019 communities: \u201cWhere are they and what are they doing\u00a0 now?\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>As this section is ever-expanding, do send me new discoveries via the comment block below. It was half way between their first Allegheny River farms and settlements and farther north into Butler County, where some of the Grays and Pearces ended up.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>*<em>WDT\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><em>Region &#8211;\u00a0<\/em>A look inside everyday life, complete with complaints<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/West-Deer-Township-Allegheny-County-Pennsylvania\/109623042389759\">https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/West-Deer-Township-Allegheny-County-Pennsylvania\/109623042389759<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>O\u2019HARA TOWNSHIP<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; Having come through Westmoreland and Indiana Counties, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/O%27Hara_Township,_Allegheny_County,_Pennsylvania\">across the Allegheny River<\/a> into former Indian Territory of the same name, the <a href=\"https:\/\/e-gen.info\/?page_id=232\">Campbells<\/a> established rich farms, eventually supplying the nearby H.J. Heinz plant with tomatoes and other vegetables for ketchup and other products. He planned to be a minister.
